This is a very common scenario in Bangladesh. My heart breaks to see them. I am not rich enough to solve the financial issues. I cross on the way. When I was in England, Facebook and TV advertisements gave me an idea that the country's developed a lot but now I am here again. Still thousands of beggars on the street, everywhere. I have taken this photo from a residential area- the man can't walk. As many as I came across yesterday mostly disabled, old, young children and obviously some young people as well. I have seen a very young lady having 3 children begging. She wouldn't be more than 22. When I ask her why are you begging!! She answered," my man left me and I have 3 young children with me. If I go to work who will babysit my children. I don't have money to buy food for them - and I beg to survive". Some say I have no hands to work, no legs to walk- what else can I do???
